GMAIL: My emails bypass / don’t arrive inbox when emailing gmail.com accounts

I had a customer who reported her @islandnet.com email not arriving with gmail.com accounts and I tested it with my address and it worked for me just fine, I noted her test to me was tagged SOCIAL and was in All Mail, after doing some testing it turned out she had recently added a link to her instagram.com in the signature of her email.

Seems most people get so many social notifications via email that they set gmail to filter and send then all to All Mail and bypass the inbox, gmail detects instragram.com in the email and tags it social so the recipient, unless they go looking, will never see it.

She removed it from the sig and it worked fine thereafter, remove twitter.com, facebook.com and instragram.com and other social network URL’s from the sig and try and avoid using them in the email’s body too.
