iThemes is currently in the middle of  WordPress Disaster Week. There is still time to join the free live training if you register and catch the free replays of the event.

There were also some “cannot miss” articles shared this week ranging from a step-by-step guide for restoring WordPress, ways to create income through WordPress monthly maintenance, and also a new feature to duplicate WordPress pages has been added to iThemes Sync.

(Oh and don’t forget the 50% off coupon SAVE50 that applies to the iThemes Toolkit is going on right now.)

WordPress News

  • WordPress 4.7 is right around the corner and there is another feature you should know about.  We have already talked about things like the Post Type Template and how amazing it will be for designers and developers.  But there is also a feature named Visible Edit Shortcuts that will make it easier to see what is editable on current views in the WordPress Customizer.  WPTavern also shared some of the Accessibility features also coming in WordPress 4.7.
  • And while WordPress 4.7 is “just around the corner” you can test the 4th beta version right now.
  • WordCamp has announced that next year’s WordCamp US will be hosted by Nashville, TN.  Put it on your calendar now for December 1-3, 2017.  See you there.
  • If you are using WP eCommerce plugin on any WordPress site, make sure you update immediately.  An SQL injection vulnerability has been patched and released to fix the issue.
  • Are you looking to begin selling a WordPress-related product (theme, plugin, etc) but you’ve been concerned about setting the price?  Make sure you read these 5 tips on pricing.
